This post is deemed suitable for flexi time, you could work between 6am to 10pm, Monday to Friday, subject to agreement with your line manager.
Cover a selection of duties for the Street Works team, involving the implementation of the Permit Scheme and duties relating to coordination of Road and Street works.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist the Street Works Manager in undertaking co-ordination of major works and permit applications.
* Analyse the provisional advance applications (PAA) for major works and permit applications to ensure a co-ordinated approach is used to minimise traffic disruption.
* Oversee and deal with Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders (TTRO’s).
* Oversee and deal with conflicts and find solutions.
* Impose variations on permits.
* Add works comments to permits.
* Grant or refuse PAA’s.
* Analyse and agree permit modification requests.
* Analyse and then respond to traffic signal applications.
* Collect and maintain records, manage data and performance information, accurate data entry into the back office IT systems.
