We're currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Parts Quality Inspector to join our Quality team The Inspector plays a critical role in ensuring the highest quality of parts and components sourced from suppliers. This position involves inspecting, testing, and verifying supplier deliveries and monitoring performance to ensure compliance with company standards and industry regulations. The Inspectorwill also work closely with suppliers to address any quality issues and facilitate continuous improvements in processes and parts quality. The Role: Inspecting and verifying incoming materials against technical specifications Raising non-conformance notices to suppliers Coordinating suppliers to manage containment actions in plant Supporting root cause Investigations Performing stock sweeps', control non-conforming stock and manage quarantine areas Supporting the ISIR (Initial Sample Inspection Report) process by producing inspection reports and coordinating fitment trials Developing inspection methods and plans. Conduct Measurement Systems Analysis' Collaborating with production, QA, and procurement teams to improve supplier quality performance and reduce rework in plant Tracking and reporting supplier performance metrics The Requirements: Minimum of 5 GCSEs (Grade C or above) or an apprenticeship qualification At least 1 year of experience in quality control, supplier quality, or manufacturing Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and specifications. GD&T experience desirable Familiarity with ISO 9001 and supplier quality procedures.
