Alongside our label and distribution partners, maximising sales potential and career development within the UK for Concord Artists, and catalogue.As the VP, Marketing you'll be responsible for managing the marketing team which develops and executes marketing plans for Concord’s recording artists in the UK. The role includes leading the strategy and processes, and, initiating marketing plans, whilst ensuring the development of Concord’s label brands. The role is also responsible for leading and implementing the team’s marketing and budgetary processes. It involves both team leadership and hands on campaign marketing. Works under general supervision.ResponsibilitiesWhat you’ll do:Manage the UK-based marketing team membersLine manage a shared global administration role based in LondonConceive and implement industry leading marketing campaigns and strategies for Concord artists, brands and labels.Communicate and synchronize campaigns with International and US Label marketing teamsCreate best practice marketing processes for team to adhere to for budgeting campaigns, holding assets, executing and communication.Manage UK team marketing budget submissionsManage the roster distribution among the marketing teamAdapt US assets and commission new creative content across campaigns where necessaryWork with distributor sales teams on marketing partnerships in both physical and digital retail spaces.Source and manage external promo teams for campaignsWork closely with internal teams, commercial, digital, Sync, International, as well as external partnersOversee Marketing team’s efforts to formulate and execute best in class UK marketing plans setting achievable targets and measuring own successes.Collaborate with Digital Marketing team’s efforts to execute best in class advertising campaigns, build audience growth and social media strategies to grow fanbases, and maximise engagement.Analyse performance of releases and report regular updatesabout campaigns to Artist teams and colleagues.Grow the team’s creative network by introducing the team to third party collaborators and representing Concord Label Group at public events, which may mean public speaking or interviews for the company as our UK marketing lead.Performs all duties inherent in a managerial roleNote: This is a general outline and not an exhaustive list of responsibilitiesQualificationsWhat you’ll need:Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, music or other related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.Minimum 10-12+ years’ experience in UK music marketing role.A strong working knowledge of all facets of the music industry.Ability to operate in a highly collaborative manner and work well under pressure.Established relations with marketing and advertising agencies and publicists.Proven track record of developing artists in the UKProven track record of delivering successful UK marketing campaignsCreative and innovative outlookExperience working with labels, artists and managersAbility to work across multiple projects of different sizes and developmentStrong organisational and project management skillsAbility to travel to the US and Europe multiple times a year.At Concord, we offer competitive salary, private medical and dental insurance, generous time off, charity match, paid time off for volunteering and a culture committed to supporting everyone’s growth and development.Concord is an equal opportunity employer.
