Overview
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Property Litigation Solicitor to join a well-established legal practice with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality advice to both local and national clients. You will handle a diverse caseload of complex, high-value property disputes and work collaboratively with specialist teams across the firm.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a varied caseload covering landlord and tenant disputes, boundary issues, and development-related conflicts.
* Advise on residential possession matters and housing law, ensuring strong knowledge of relevant statutory regulations.
* Provide guidance on long residential leases including:
o Lease extensions
o Freehold enfranchisement
o Rights of first refusal
o Right to manage company arrangements
* Work closely with commercial and residential property teams to provide seamless in-house support.
* Liaise effectively with clients, colleagues, and third parties to secure the best possible outcomes.
* Keep up to date with changes in property and contract law to ensure proactive and accurate advice.
* Contribute to the continued development and success of the team through professional engagement and business development awareness.
Requirements
* Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive in England & Wales.
* Ideally 3+ years’ PQE in property litigation and experience handling commercial contract disputes.
* Strong advocacy, communication, and negotiation skills.
* Able to balance independence with strong team collaboration.
* Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and manage competing deadlines.
