Responsibilities
* Provide full support to Sonographers performing ultrasound scans for patients referred to the service, including acting as a chaperone.
* Ensure patient care and reassurance during scans in a professional and empathetic manner.
* Assist in setting up and tidying clinic rooms prior to commencement.
* Collect patients from the waiting area and escort them into clinic.
* Enter patient details accurately onto the ultrasound machine.
* Educate patients regarding preparatory requirements and correct positioning on the couch.
* Transfer ultrasound machines and consumables across various geographical sites.
* Maintain clinic rooms according to specified clinical/IPC standards and participate in IPC audits and site assessments.
* Contribute to clinical audits and the organization’s audit processes.
* Carry out clerical duties, including use of the IPMC system.
* Transfer all patient images to the CIMAR at the end of each clinic.
* Participate in training, e-learning, and appraisal system.
* Attend Advanced Imaging Assistant meetings.
* Establish excellent relationships with Sonographers, Operations staff, GP staff, and resolve clinic setting issues.
* Be willing to undertake other tasks as delegated.

* Ability to travel throughout the region to cover multiple sites.
* Eligibility to reside and work in the UK.
* Good general health and physical fitness.
* Enhanced DBS will be required.
* References will be taken.
* Seeks constant improvement in performance.

* Team player and punctual.
* Good attendance.
* Effective communication with GP staff within clinic settings.
