Due to the relocation of our current showroom manager a vacancy has opened up to take over our thriving Shepton Mallet showroom.
We are a family run retail mobility business with 5 showrooms in Wiltshire and Somerset. We offer mobility scooters, adjustable beds, rise and recline chairs, powerchairs, wheelchairs and a whole host of other aids to help people with medical conditions that are affecting their mobility.
Full training will be provided on our products and it is anticipated that you will work alongside the outgoing manager during the training period.
Sales experience is preferred although not necessarily within the mobility industry. Good communication and the ability to empathise with people's needs is essential.
The Showroom Manager will oversee the running of the showroom. This will involve selling and demonstrating our mobility products. Stock control. Excellent admin and computer skills. Knowledge of social media and the ability to generate interest through this and other mediums. Enthusiasm for our products and the ways they can improve peoples lives is a must to be able to succeed within our business.
Our showroom has been open for 7 years so is very much up and running and doing an excellent level of business. We would like the new manager to be able to improve on this and take it to the next level.
Remuneration is by way of basic salary, £25350 plus commission on all sales. The OTE are currently £47,000. There is also free private healthcare and a subsidised policy available for family members. We also run a pension scheme.
Based around 37.5 hours per week over 5 days. The showroom is open 7 days per week, so weekend work will be required on a rotational basis with your assistant who covers 2 days per week.
