Responsibilities
* Position summary: Machine parts to conform to blueprints/drawings.
* Independently set up at least one type of CNC machine.
* Operate machine(s) while maintaining blueprint specifications.
* Perform stability study of gauges used.
* Load and edit programs as needed.
* Perform initial inspection when needed.
* Maintain a clean work environment.
* Comply with all safety and sanitation regulations.
* Use all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required and instructed.
* Performs other duties as assigned by manager.
Supervisory Responsibilities
* None
Physical Requirements
* Lift and move up to 50 pounds without assistance.
* Able to stand for long periods of time.
* Ability to load/unload machines (repetitive lifting and bending).
Work Environment
* Manufacturing environment with temperatures varying by season; noise level can be moderate to high.
* PPE required as determined by safety standards: safety glasses, ear plugs, gloves, safety shoes.
Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
* Minimum 2+ years’ experience setting up and operating CNC equipment.
* Demonstrated ability to set up some CNC machines.
* Ability to use relevant measurement equipment.
* Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
* Ability to meet quality and productivity standards.
* Ability to read blueprints.
* Computer skills, intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Ability to work as part of a team.
* Punctual and reliable at workstation.
Pay and Benefits
The US hourly rate will be $23.51-$28.00/hour.
