Our client, a manufacturer of electric cars whose mission is to bring real engagement and emotion to driving electric performance cars is currently looking for a Production and Materials Planner (contract) to join their team! You'll be at the heart of manufacturing operations—ensuring production schedules align with engineering requirements and supply chain capabilities. You'll help bring electric hypercars from concept to completion with precision and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain project Bills of Materials (BoMs).
Coordinate design releases into ERP systems using CAD/PLM tools.
Handle design changes, up-revs, and obsolescence in ERP.
Collaborate with build teams to ensure timely part availability.
Develop and maintain detailed production schedules.
Align plans with resource availability and lead times.
Report on budget vs actual costs and forecast material usage.
Support cost reduction initiatives and workflow tool development.
Source metallic and composite components within budget and quality targets.
Deputise for Head of Supply Chain when needed. What We're Looking For:
Essential:
Strong understanding of automotive manufacturing, especially low-volume/high-spec.
Experience managing BoMs using MRP/ERP systems.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and composite lay-up manuals.
MCIPS qualified (or working towards), with 3-5 years in technical purchasing.
Calm, effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
Fluent in spoken and written English. Desirable:
Experience in niche automotive or motorsport environments.
Familiarity with ODOO ERP system.
