Vacancy Details
* Location: Midlothian Intensive Home Treatment Team, 11 St Andrew Street, Dalkeith
* Salary: £41,608 – £50,702
* Contract: Permanent
* Working hours: 8 am – Midnight, 7 days per week (shift work)
* Shift pattern: 37 hours per week
Duties & Responsibilities
* Assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of psychiatric nursing care to patients/clients.
* Provide care during duty hours and respond to crises.
* Collaborate with other services and disseminate appropriate information.
* Manage shift smoothly, oversee workload and workforce.
Key Requirements
* Registered in the Nursing and Midwifery Council (RMN Qualification).
* Post‑registration experience in acute mental health with assessment of risk.
* Desirable: Formal post‑registration qualification or equivalent experience.
Further Information
The Intensive Home Treatment Team operates 8 am – Midnight, 7 days per week. Shift work within these hours is required.
