We are looking for an experienced Operations Administrator to work with one of our well-established clients in Burnley.
JOB PURPOSE:
The Operations Administrator will handle HR and administrative tasks within the Operations Department, supporting Production, Warehouse, and Engineering functions on-site and across multiple sites.
It is essential that the individual manages their time effectively to support all functions and complete tasks to a high standard, utilizing current processes and systems to ensure consistency across all areas.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Balance your time to support all Departments with their critical operational administration requirements.
2. Support Managers by providing information from HR database systems to manage absence, performance, development, and wellbeing.
3. Assist Coordinators with Employee/Contractor inductions, ensuring all paperwork is current, including checklists, PPE requirements, and understanding of site policies.
4. Print Goods-in Checks and Labels for deliveries (QA120).
5. Ensure training records are up to date and properly filed for audit compliance.
6. Organize right-to-work documentation for agency staff, maintaining proper files for compliance.
7. Support system development and data input processes.
8. Print and sign off timesheets for operations in a timely manner each Monday.
9. Monitor accrued TOIL/banked hours, communicate with Department leads weekly, and coordinate month-end payroll submissions.
10. Support reception cover during breaks and holidays.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Experience with time and attendance systems and payroll submissions.
* Proactive with a can-do attitude.
Type of work: Temporary to permanent
Hours of work: 22.5 to 26 hours per week, Monday to Wednesday 8am – 4pm, with flexibility to work on Thursday 8am – 1pm if needed.
Pay rate: £13.05 per hour (£15,264.92 per year).
