Job Description
Undertake the preparation, cooking, and service of food and beverages within primary and secondary schools and community facilities.
This role may require flexible and weekend working.
There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.
The successful candidate will be expected to fry fish and chips on the days they are on the menu and also to clean the fryer regularly. The working pattern is 3 hours daily over lunchtime, with an additional hour on the day you clean the fryer.
Aberdeenshire Council currently applies a Living Wage Supplement to all Council employees earning less than £12.60 per hour.

Requirements
This post requires at least one reference, which must be from your current or most recent employer.
This position involves regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will need to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. If you have spent a continuous period of 3 months or more outside the UK in the last 5 years, an overseas criminal record check will be required. The employment offer and start date are contingent upon satisfactory completion of these checks.
