Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen within Stockport Talking Therapies to manage, supervise and support the admin team.

You will manage the day to day running of the office ensuring the service runs at its best. You will possess excellent communication and organisational skills and are able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.

Main duties of the job

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

* To ensure a comprehensive, effective clerical service is provided and implementation of admin systems, procedures and policies are adhered to.
* To support the Manager to ensure that Key Performance Indicators are effectively monitored.

Education / Qualifications


Essential criteria

* NVQ 4 Business and Admin or equivalent experience


Desirable criteria

* Qualifications and experience in office management

* Management/supervision Experience
* Administrative / Secretarial experience in an office environment
* Experience in a position demanding excellent organisational skills.
* Use of Excel and able to interpret statistical information


Desirable criteria

* Previous experience of NHS


Knowledge

* Knowledge of MS Office Applications
* Delegation and Management Skills
* Implementation of Admin Procedures
* Knowledge of PcMis, Paris and PcPlus

Work related circumstances

* Use of a car or access to a means of mobility to travel across the Trust footprint in line with service needs. Willing to carry out all duties and responsibilities of the post in accordance with the organisations Equal Opportunities and Equality and Diversity policies. Appointments to regulated and controlled activities require an enhanced DBS disclosure.
