We require proactive and hardworking staff to work as part of a team within Cleaning Services. The role involves cleaning in clinical and non-clinical areas, maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and care across wards and departments.
Additional responsibilities include:
1. Familiarising yourself with the full job description and person specification documents attached to this advert.
2. Providing and maintaining high standards of service to patients, visitors, and staff.
3. Using chemicals and cleaning equipment responsibly, following health and safety guidelines.
4. Maintaining cleanliness in line with the National Specifications for Cleanliness in the NHS.
5. Working flexibly within defined rotas and schedules according to Trust policies.
6. Placing weekly orders for cleaning supplies, managing stock levels, and reporting discrepancies.
7. Ensuring chemicals are stored according to COSHH and safety regulations.
8. Managing faulty equipment collection and ensuring security of stock areas.
9. Keeping store areas and pedestrian pathways clean and unobstructed.
