We are recruiting for a specialist composites manufacturer in Leicestershire. Join a growing team where your skills and attention to detail in producing high-quality tooling and components will be valued.
Composite Trimmer Roles and Responsibilities:
* Trimming, fitting, and finishing composite tools and components with precision
* Assembling jigs and fixtures to support production requirements
* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and work instructions to meet project deadlines
* Inspecting finished components for surface defects and quality issues
* Performing tool maintenance and supporting Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM) activities
* Contributing to ongoing 5S and Lean manufacturing initiatives
Composite Trimmer Ideal Candidate:
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Composite Fitter or Laminator
* Confident interpreting engineering drawings
* Solid understanding of composite structures
* Skilled in using manual measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
* Highly organised, reliable, and able to work independently
* Positive, proactive team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
