EYFS Teaching Assistant (Level 3+) – Nursery Setting
Runcorn (WA7) Full-Time | September Start
Pay Rate: £14.25 - £15.00 per day (DOE)
Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in the Runcorn (WA7) area, who are seeking a qualified Level 3 (or above) EYFS Teaching Assistant to support within their nursery provision. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive early years team and play a key role in children’s development during their formative years.
The Role
* Supporting the class teacher across a busy nursery setting within a primary school
* Delivering high-quality support in line with the EYFS framework
* Assisting with planning and leading engaging, play-based learning activities
* Supporting children’s social, emotional, and educational development
* Helping to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment
* Observing, tracking, and reporting on children’s progress
* Supporting personal care routines where required
* Ensuring safeguarding and welfare standards are consistently met
Ideal Candidate
* Holds a Level 3 qualification (or above) in Childcare/Early Years(essential for staff ratio requirements)
* Has recent experience working within an EYFS or nursery setting
* Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development
* Passionate about supporting young children’s learning and wellbeing
* Patient, nurturing, and highly adaptable
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Confident supporting across the classroom and working proactively
