Job Title: Mortgage & Protection Adviser
Basis: Full Time Permanent Employed Role
Location: Home based. Telephone based.
Target: You must be a fully qualified CeMAP (or equivalent) Mortgage Adviser with a minimum of 12 months advising experience to be considered.
Rewards: Minimum guaranteed earnings of £45,000 in first 12 months. Genuine £55K+ OTE in second year with significant increases and enhancements with our promotional tiers package
Working Hours: Monday to Friday only, working 3 days 9.30am-6pm and 2 days 11.30am-8pm. No weekends required
Timeline: Immediate interviews available for our next induction course starting summer 2026.

Our Mortgage & Protection Advisers offer advice and recommendation on protection products, including buildings and contents insurance, life assurance, critical illness cover and income protection, as well as a will writing service. Long‑standing relationships with lenders mean we can access exclusive rates and products not available on the high street or other brokers.
As a home‑based Mortgage and Protection Adviser at GMC we believe your skills and experience are best suited to focusing purely on the provision of quality advice and sales to our customers. The work of contacting customers, securing appointments and the progressing of the mortgage and protection applications is the sole remit of our dedicated Adviser Support Teams.
We create the opportunity for you to perform at your very best by providing you with pre‑arranged existing customer mortgage appointments. As these appointments are with our Mortgage Lifetime Members, your conversion rate from appointment to business written will exceed 80%, and as a result, you will perform at the high end of the mortgage market in terms of business written.
This is a telephone‑based role so you must be a skilled communicator with an articulate and engaging persona. You will also be highly motivated to deliver service excellence to our valued Lifetime Members, and you will back this up with robust organisational skills and disciplines.

Required Knowledge, Skills And Qualifications
* CeMAP (or equivalent) qualified
* Engaging and articulate with outstanding communication and listening skills to explain complex information in a clear and simple format in a telephone‑based environment
* Minimum of 12 months demonstrable mortgage advice experience
* Highly organised, adopting a disciplined and robustly structured approach to work
* Competent in all Microsoft Office applications
