Enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant (TA) Needed for Thriving Betchworth School
Are you passionate about education and making a real difference in childrens lives? Do you have experience supporting students in a classroom environment? Randstad Education is actively seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant (TA) to join a wonderful primary school in the heart of Betchworth, Surrey.
This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a supportive and dynamic school community. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the class teacher, helping to deliver engaging lessons, and providing targeted support to students in both literacy and numeracy.
Your Role As a Teaching Assistant
Work closely with the class teacher to create a positive and effective learning environment.
Provide academic support to students in small groups or on a 1:1 basis, focusing on English and Maths.
Assist with classroom management and uphold the schools behaviour policies.
Help prepare learning materials and classroom displays.
Foster the social and emotional development of students.
Support children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) may be required.
What We Are Looking For In a Candidate
Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant (TA) or Learning Support Assistant (LSA) is highly desirable.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students and staff.
A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their educational journey.
Excellent literacy and numeracy support skills.
The ability to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated school team.
A positive, patient, and resilient attitude.
