We support adults recovering from mental health illnesses, providing a safe, therapeutic, and homely environment where residents can rebuild confidence, develop life skills, and take positive steps towards greater independence. About the Role As a Support Worker, you’ll play a vital role in the recovery journey of our residents. This is not just about delivering care – it’s about empowering people to live fulfilling lives, grow in independence, and achieve their personal goals. On a typical day you might: Support residents with personal care in a way that respects dignity. Encourage independent living skills, such as cooking, shopping, and budgeting. Join in with activities that promote social interaction and confidence. Accompany residents to appointments, community events, or day trips. Offer emotional support, reassurance, and practical help during daily challenges. Support residents preparing for more independent living in our self-contained flats. What We’re Looking For We’re looking for people who want to make a difference in mental health care. You don’t need to have prior experience in this area – what matters most is your attitude and values. A genuine passion for supporting people on their mental health recovery journey. Patience, empathy, and kindness. A sense of humour and a positive outlook. Reliability and trustworthiness. SVQ Level 2 (or equivalent in Health and Social Care) – desirable but not essential, as training is provided. Why Work With Us?
