In the role you will act as the first point of contact for all queries received into the team ensuring they are directed and escalated as appropriate. This plays a key role in liaising with internal stakeholders and clients to provide advice and respond to queries which can be time sensitive and within emotive circumstances. The role not only plays an integral part in protecting and enhancing client care but also ensures case handlers have sufficient capacity to service valuable deputyship work and the relationships with families and external parties.
Responsibilities
* Liaising with core stakeholders including case managers and other fee earners within the business regarding issues that arise.
* Taking instructions from clients and assisting with providing legal advice, including obtaining evidence and where appropriate, to achieve appropriate resolutions for the clients.
* Achieve time recording and fee income targets to ensure profitable working.
* Attend and contribute to team/practice area meetings and comply with directions/decisions made to ensure team objectives achieved. Qualifications
Were looking for a Paralegal with excellent client care skills, who is a well‑motivated individual with a friendly, enthusiastic, and can‑do approach. Our ideal candidate will have the following:
* Demonstrable interest in Court of Protection work
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
* The ability to work well as both a team and independently
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
* The ability to be sensitive and sympathetic whilst understanding our clients needs
* Previous experience working in Court of Protection ideally across Property and Affairs would be desirable
