Overview
We are recruiting for a talented and dedicated Claims Manager to join our expanding team in Northampton, providing strong leadership and day-to-day management for our corporate client motor defence team. This role offers comprehensive training, career progression, and the opportunity to help expand our legal services nationally and internationally.
How you'll make an impact
1. Train and monitor claims handlers to ensure compliance with service level agreements
2. Serve as a technical referral point for claims handlers
3. Review and manage high-profile or complaint cases
4. Assist with auditing claim files and implementing process improvements
5. Lead with integrity and promote a positive attitude
6. Act as the key liaison between claims handlers and management
7. Document defence procedures and maintain client relationships
8. Ensure high data standards on the case management system and prepare client reports
9. Meet specified targets and control the claim lifecycle
10. Assist in recovering outstanding client bills and aged debt
11. Assist with recruitment, performance reviews, and team coordination
12. Identify and implement training needs for team claims handlers
About You
* Experience in team performance management, and team coordination
* Strong leadership and client relationship management skills
* Experience of handling motor / litigated claims
* 3+ years of handling motor/ litigated claims
* Technical expertise in handling pre-and post-litigated claims
