We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Technical Coordinator to join our team within Vistry North Midlands, at our Castle Donington office. As our Assistant Technical Coordinator, you will be part of the Technical Team tasked with taking new build housing projects through from inception to completion. The role will cover all areas involved in the preparation of design information, including the management of consultants, management of design input from other external parties, as well as liaison with local authorities, and other Vistry departments including the site teams.

Qualifications & Requirements

* Proven experience of fulfilling a similar role
* A good foundational understanding of the Architectural and Engineering disciplines in housebuilding

Job Responsibilities
* Comply with the company Life of Site processes
* Assist in managing external consultants in the preparation and issue of working drawings to an agreed programme, fee and scope
* Attend meetings at various stages of projects including design team, partner / stakeholder, and site progress meetings
* Assist in overseeing civil / structural / architectural design work carried out by external consultants
* Review and issue associated information, designs, specifications and drawings
* Assist Commercial and Buying Teams in reviewing third‑party design information
* Respond to site queries and resolve any technical issues
* Assist in the implementation of departmental objectives and procedures, identifying opportunities for improvement
* Support the Technical Co‑ordinators and the rest of the Technical Team as required
