Job summary
Who are we? The Waterlily Inpatient Prevention Programme is a pioneering and relatively new, intensive online treatment programme for patients with anorexia nervosa, living in the East Midlands region.
The region covers Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Northamptonshire & Lincolnshire, working as a provider collaborative to meet the needs of this vulnerable patient group. The post holder will work within the Lincolnshire area.
What do we do? We deliver an online group programme, Monday to Friday, 8.30am till 4.30pm. Our activities include educational and therapeutic groups, meal supervisions, and community support for activities such as home cooking, visits to cafes, or shopping. We aim to increase the frequency of evening meal sessions as staffing allows.
Although most treatment is online, there is also face-to-face work on an individual basis and community-based activities to support recovery and engagement.
Who's who? Our team comprises enthusiastic and skilled clinicians including OTs, RMNs, Assistant Psychologists, and Therapy Support Workers. We are passionate about providing alternative treatment options to inpatient admission or long-term outpatient therapy for our patients.
Based where? You will be based in Lincolnshire, employed by Leicestershire Partnership Trust, working from the Lincolnshire base, in the community, or remotely. You must be able to drive and travel within Lincolnshire to support community-based patients.
Main duties of the job
* Facilitate online groups and support all patients enrolled in the programme.
* Provide meal supervision both online and in community settings.
* Support patients in their community to achieve recovery goals through activities like cooking and outings.
* Collaborate with carers and family members involved in the patient's care.
