Duties of the Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester:
6. Servicing and repairing a variety of vehicles to manufacturer standards
7. Diagnosing and fixing mechanical and electrical issues efficiently
8. Carrying out general repairs including brakes, suspension, exhausts, and more
9. Conducting routine vehicle inspections and diagnostics
10. Undertaking MOT tests for class 4 vehicles (MOT Tester licence preferred, full training available if needed)
11. Assisting with wheel alignment, tyre fitting, and air conditioning servicing
12. Maintaining high workshop standards and contributing to excellent customer service
Requirements of the Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester:
13. Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or MOT Tester
14. NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
15. Strong diagnostic skills and attention to detail
16. Valid UK driving licence is essential
17. MOT Tester licence is highly desirable, but training can be provided for suitable individuals
18. Friendly, professional attitude with a customer-focused approach
19. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
