About Us
We are launching an exciting bar/restaurant in Eyemouth, opening Thursday to Sunday, and we're looking for an experienced and driven Bar Manager to lead the way from day one.
This is a unique opportunity to start from the begining and build something special from the ground up. You won't just be managing a bar — you'll be shaping its culture, standards, reputation, and long-term success within the local community.
The Role
As Bar Manager, you will:
* Lead all day-to-day bar operations
* Recruit, train, and develop a strong, motivated team
* Create a positive, high-energy working environment
* Drive exceptional customer service standards
* Manage stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships
* Oversee licensing compliance and health & safety
* Work closely with ownership to grow the business from scratch
* Contribute ideas for events, promotions, and seasonal offerings
What We're Looking For
We are seeking someone who:
* Has proven experience managing a bar or hospitality venue
* Is confident leading and developing a team
* Is commercially aware and motivated to grow sales and reputation
* Thrives in a hands-on leadership role
* Has strong knowledge of stock control, GP margins, and compliance
* Wants to build and grow a successful team around them
* Is excited by the challenge of developing a new business
