The post holder would be based in the Galashiels team with a flexible approach to home and office working. We are an enthusiastic and friendly team with supportive management and regular supervision.
We are adopting new ways of engaging with the community and taking a more preventative approach, e.g., Community Led Support and Integration with Health.
We seek candidates with transferable skills to work closely with statutory and voluntary teams to provide the best service for service users.
You will need to uphold the highest professional standards, demonstrate emotional maturity, possess a strong desire to help others, and show dignity and respect to all individuals. Opportunities for further training and development are available and supported through the supervision process.
Requirements include:
1. Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy
2. Registration with HCPC/SSSC
3. A current driving licence and use of a vehicle are essential for this post. If you have a disability that prevents you from holding a driver’s licence, Scottish Borders Council will consider making reasonable adjustments to accommodate your disability.
