Fife Coast and Countryside Trust (FCCT) are seeking an Executive Assistant to join our Support Services department. Support Services underpin all of the Trust's activity, delivering essential back‑office functions and driving the organisation's processes and communications.
Location: The Harbourmasters House, Hot Pot Wynd, Dysart, KY1 2TQ
Salary: £30,691.29 to £33,732.26
Hours: Full‑time, 36 hours per week
Contract Type: Fixed Term till 31st December 2027

About the role:
As Executive Assistant, you will perform a variety of highly specialised and confidential administrative support duties in support of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and wider senior team with a particular emphasis on FCCT's fundraising strategy and action plan. The role includes administrative operations, CEO hospitality, project support, deadline compliance, and creating/managing documents and files with a particular emphasis on fundraising and governance. The role may evolve to include line management of up to but not exceeding 5 staff.
About you:
We are looking for a highly organised, confident and self‑motivated individual to join our team. You will bring with you the following skills and experience:
* Relevant professional qualification (i.e. business management, secretarial studies) or equivalent experience
* Experience of working in an Executive Assistant/Personal Assistant role
* Confident and highly developed minute and note taking skills
* Excellent IT skills, including use of MS Office packages, proficiency in Word, Excel etc
* Highly organised and able to effectively manage workload
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Diplomatic and resourceful in dealing with individuals of all levels of seniority in a professional manner
* Confident, self‑motivated and able to take initiative and work as part of a team or independently
* Keen understanding of confidentiality and the requirement for discretion
* Ability to work to deadlines
* Experience of developing and/or maintaining systems, processes and procedures
* High level of attention to detail
* Excellent time management skills
