Talent Acquisition Specialist at Stericycle UK & Ireland

This is where we hope, you come in.

As an Outbound Sales Executive, you'll build your own client target list through various channels and convert these prospects into active, spending accounts with Shred-it. You’ll spend 4 out of 5 days cold calling, so your focus will be to SELL, SELL, SELL! The final day you’ll spend following up on conversations had, with proposals and any other action points you’ve taken away from that week.

At Shred-it, we deal in information security and document destruction solutions, that means we help businesses and consumers mitigate the ongoing threats and risks of workplace privacy breaches through our technologies, protocols and practices, and innovative products and services.

Key Responsibilities

* You’ll be responsible for finding your own sales leads, this can be done through a number of channels including Salesforce, Linkedin, Companies House etc.
* From these leads you’ll create your own target list which you will make outbound calls to, to drive new customer acquisition growth. That’s successfully converting your leads into active/spending accounts.
* You’ll sell our suite of services designed to protect private information by discovering client needs, making personalised recommendations and providing bespoke solutions to business up and down the country.
* Manage a pipeline of prospects to build future sales through customer relationship building, understanding contract timescales and tender processes. (This is very important as some sales can take up to 12 months to close).


To Succeed in this role

* Money will be your motivator, always striving to over achieve on KPI’s and earn more than you did last month is going to be key!
* You’ll be commercially aware, that means having the ability to think on your feet and deliver a profitable proposal to a customer that meets internal guidelines.
* Being organised and self-aware is essential! Following up on leads, understanding what a good lead looks like, and being consistently forward thinking in planning your day/week/month ahead.
* Consistency is everything. We expect our Sales Execs to make between 60-100 per day. Hit these numbers and you’ll close your sales.


How you'll demonstrate it

* You’ll have a proven track record of commercial success. This could be in a sales consultant role (or similar) or another role or experience that shows this.
* You’ll have at least 3 years’ experience in B2B sales. (Ideally selling services into businesses)
