JDR Recruitment are recruiting for an Internal Sales Administrator on behalf of our client.
Location: Runcorn
Salary: £26,000-£30,000 + Bonus (DOE)
Hours of Work: Monday-Thursday 8:30am-5:00pm, Friday 8:30am-4:30pm
Contract Type: Permanent
The Role:
As an Internal Sales Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the sales function, ensuring a smooth and efficient process from enquiry through to order completion. Working closely with Business Development Managers, you will help maintain strong customer relationships and deliver a high level of service.
Duties will include processing sales quotations, orders, and purchase orders accurately, as well as following up on quotations to help secure new business. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining CRM systems, ensuring all customer interactions and records are up to date.
The role will also involve liaising with both customers and suppliers to expedite orders, handle returns, and resolve any non-conformance's. You will support the wider sales team with coordination and administrative tasks, while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the department.
Providing excellent customer service and maintaining strong working relationships will be key to success in this role.
Experience / Skills Required:
Previous experience within the electrical field and a sales role
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail
Confident using Microsoft Office and CRM systems
Proactive and solution-focused approach
Ability to work independently as well as part of a fast-paced team
A minimum of 1-2 years of experience within a sales position is required for this role
