Are you a Junior Network Engineer
Role Details:
1. £28,111 - £30,644 basic salary, plus up to 3% annual bonus, 3x life assurance policy, 20 days holiday (plus 8 bank holidays)
2. Hybrid working - Based in Maidenhead 3x per week
3. 37.5 hours per week Monday – Friday, 9-5.
What will I be doing?
4. Assist in the configuration and management of network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
5. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.
6. Participate in network upgrades and expansions to support business growth.
7. Collaborate with senior network engineers and IT staff to resolve network-related issues.
8. Provide support and guidance to end-users on network-related queries.
9. Ensure network services meet the needs of internal and external customers.
What are the requirements?
10. Basic knowledge of network protocols and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
11. Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
12. Familiarity with network security principles and practices.
13. Capability to work under supervision and take initiative when needed
14. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges
15. Previous experience in a network support or related role is desirable.
