Balfour Beatty’s Power Transmission & Distribution team is seeking a dedicated Site Engineer – OHL to join the BTNO project in Ipswich. Working closely with the Project Manager, Project Director and wider delivery team, you’ll play a key role in the planning, execution, and successful delivery of our overhead line works — ensuring they’re completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Deliver and oversee day-to-day site engineering activities across OHL works. Interpret and communicate specified engineered solutions to working parties. Supervise and support the delivery team, ensuring works are completed right first time, in line with safety and quality standards. Set people to work in line with company procedures and ensure sustainable and safe practices on site. Monitor and report on time, cost, quality, safety and other key project KPIs. Drive compliance with project scope, design requirements and customer expectations. Actively contribute to commissioning, handover and close-out of project phases.
