Job Description: We are excited to welcome an enthusiastic Transport Administrator to our team. This role involves providing essential administrative support within the transport department to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Organising: Completing daily transport administration tasks, raising PO's, scanning and filing of transport information.
Freight Management: Ensuring timings and information of TMS jobs are entered into the internal systems and that they are up to date.
Driver Management: Daily debriefs for drivers.
Resource Utilisation: Maximising the use of resources to ensure scanning and filing are accurate.
Communication: Handling queries via email, phone, and face-to-face.
KPI Production: Assisting in the production of KPIs and daily statistics.
System Management: Manage transport operational admin via Mandata and Microlise and oversee the T&A system.
Team Collaboration: Promoting positive relationships and offering support.
Requirements:
Previous experience working within the Transport and Logistics industry is desirable.
Ability to communicate at all levels.
Excellent organisational skills and prioritising workload.
Attention to detail is critical and working to deadlines daily.
Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
