Job Purpose
We’re recruiting two confident and proactive individuals to join our Sales team, focusing on growing audiences and strengthening relationships across our venues.
Responsibilities
* Develop group bookings and drive ticket sales across Northamptonshire Arts Management Trust’s venues.
* Handle customer enquiries and ticket sales via phone, email, and counter, ensuring accurate event information and high‑standard customer service.
* Identify opportunities to maximise ticket revenue, promote memberships and charitable donations, and support the organization’s ticketing service.
* Provide excellent customer service, creating a welcoming reception environment and serving as a courteous point of contact for all visitors.
* Travel between Royal & Derngate (Northampton) and The Core at Corby, as travel between sites is a core part of the role.
Qualifications
* Experience in a sales, ticketing or customer service environment.
* Experience communicating with customers in a busy or fast‑paced environment.
* Experience handling customer enquiries via phone, email or in person.
* Experience working towards sales or performance targets.
* Interest in theatre, performing arts or live events.
* Understanding of accessibility and inclusive customer service.
* Awareness of accurate customer data and GDPR practices.
* Commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Confidence in promoting and selling products, services, and ticket offers.
* Ability to build positive relationships with customers and group organisers.
* Ability to identify opportunities to maximise sales through customer interaction.
* Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy.
* Confidence using computer systems and Microsoft Office applications.
* Ability to remain calm and professional when dealing with challenging situations.
* Flexible approach to working patterns and willingness to work evenings and weekends.
* Full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle (desirable).
* Experience using Tessitura or a similar ticketing system (desirable).
* Experience working within the arts, cultural or events sector (desirable).
* Experience supporting group bookings or customer relationship activity (desirable).
* GDPR knowledge (desirable).

Hours
35 hours per week. Flexible working on a rota basis, predominantly Tuesday to Saturday, including regular evenings. Requires travel between venues (Northampton and Corby).
