Job Brief You will be responsible for day-to-day management of the Operations Team and the safe and efficient operation of the plant Deputising as Operations Manager to ensure critical decisions are made in a safe and professional manner including; Manage day to day objectives for the site to include operational output, logistics, long term operational and maintenance needs, statutory compliance, resource planning and cost control measures. Identify and achieve key indicators of success, establishing improvement plans and targets for the shift team. Manage and be fully accountable for the core requirements of the SHE Management system. Ensure shift teams are competent both technically and behaviourally and that adequate support is available, organised and supervised where necessary. Provide strong management giving precise delegation and responsibility where needed. Motivate and enthuse all members of the shift team to contribute to a purposeful environment.
