Housekeeper (bank)

We’re looking for a compassionate and reliable Bank Housekeeper to join us at Victoria Court Care Home in Ilkeston. In this role, you’ll help create a clean, safe and comfortable environment for our residents, many of whom rely on these small touches to feel truly at home.

What you’ll do:

1. Maintain high standards of cleanliness across bedrooms, communal areas and facilities
2. Work flexibly to cover shifts as needed
3. Support infection control and follow all health & safety procedures
4. Contribute to a warm, homely atmosphere for residents and visitors

What we’re looking for:

5. A caring attitude and pride in your work
6. Good attention to detail
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
8. Previous housekeeping experience is helpful but not essential

Please note all applicants must already hold the legal right to work in the UK to apply for this role.

Victoria Court in Ilkeston is home to well trained and helpful staff with rooms for up to 40 residents. At Anchor, we pride ourselves in providing 24-hour care and specialised services for elderly people, the beauty of our grounds, the quality of our catering and our engaging activities we deliver.
