This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and forward-thinking business in a pivotal role, where you'll take ownership of logistics, customer service, and administration functions—ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of operations and supporting overall business performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver an exceptional customer experience for both internal and external stakeholders.
* Lead, support, and manage a small team across administration, customer service, and logistics.
* Oversee procurement activities, inventory control, and regular data reporting.
* Manage a significant logistics budget and meet weekly KPIs to support business performance.
* Work closely with production to ensure stock availability and accuracy.
* Act as a point of contact across departments to ensure smooth administrative operations.
* Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and participate in supplier negotiations.
* Monitor daily stock levels and proactively advise on production requirements.
* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
* Ensure timely and accurate processing of orders, invoicing, and stock management.
* Support development and integration of systems (ERP and EDI) to streamline workflows.
* Maintain compliance with all relevant policies and regulations, including food safety and health & safety.
* Oversee the day-to-day management of the office environment to support a productive workplace.
What We’re Looking For
* Experience in a similar role within the FMCG or manufacturing sector.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
* Proficient in ERP systems and confident analysing data for business decisions.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Demonstrable experience managing third-party logistics and distribution networks.
* A hands-on, proactive approach with a keen eye for detail and continuous improvement.
