Overview

We’re looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join our HR team here at Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG). This is a full-time, permanent role, working on a hybrid basis (4 days in the office and 1 from home). You will be based from our open-plan Castleford head office (WF10 5HW), which is just a 5-minute walk from the train station, close to the M62 and A1 and has on-site parking. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting our people agenda at a time when the business is growing and evolving.

What you’ll be doing:


Responsibilities

* Partner with managers across the business, working closely with our HR Business Partners and HR Coordinators to provide high-quality, people-focused HR support.
* Be a trusted advisor to managers, helping them to build engagement and performance in their teams, while ensuring our policies and processes are applied consistently and fairly.
* Monitor workplace culture including turnover and absenteeism.
* Assist the HR Business Partner with reward benchmarking.
* Produce monthly HR statistics and reports including headcount, labour turnover, absence and recruitment.
* Build strong working relationships with managers to understand key business drivers and identify potential people and development issues at an early stage.


Qualifications and attributes

* Rounded experience of generalist HR support, with an understanding of the needs of a commercial organisation.
* Sound knowledge of UK employment law.
* Competent PC/database and reporting skills.
* Flexible, positive, customer-focused approach.
* Strong communication and relationship management skills.
* Proactive, solutions-oriented approach to all activities.
* Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail, with a continuous improvement mindset.
* Pragmatic approach to HR without compromising professional standards.
* Appreciation of the end customer and its impact on internal activities.
* CIPD qualified or equivalent formal recognised training/qualification is desirable.
