You will take full responsibility for a KS1 class, working closely with colleagues to deliver engaging, child-led learning experiences and support pupils to meet their full potential across the curriculum.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in line with the KS1 national curriculum.
* Plan, assess, and differentiate to meet a range of learner needs.
* Create a positive, stimulating classroom environment where all pupils feel safe and supported.
* Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SEN staff, and senior leaders.
* Communicate effectively with parents and carers to support pupil progress.
* Uphold strong safeguarding, behaviour, and inclusion practices.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching in KS1.
* A solid understanding of the KS1 curriculum and age-related expectations.
* A nurturing and reflective teaching approach.
* Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
* Ability to inspire, motivate and build relationships with pupils and staff.
* Commitment to continuous professional development and safeguarding standards.
