About the Role
Allan Corfield Architects and Structures are looking for an experienced and proactive Office Manager to join our established team. This is a key position within our team, supporting both our architectural and structural engineering businesses and helping ensure the smooth day-to-day running of our offices.
As our current Office Manager prepares for retirement, we are seeking someone who can take ownership of operational processes, support the team, and help maintain the positive, collaborative culture that defines us.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety — from co-ordinating office operations and supporting project administration to helping keep the business organised as we continue to grow.

Allan Corfield Architects (since 2010) is an award-winning practice specialising in bespoke homes, sustainable design, and innovative architecture across the UK.
Working alongside our sister company, AC Structures (since 2021), we provide integrated architectural and structural engineering services to deliver thoughtful, high-quality projects.
We are a close-knit and supportive team that values creativity, professionalism, and a strong office culture.
Key Responsibilities
Day-to-day management of office operations across both ACA and ACS
Supporting directors and team members with administration and co-ordination
Managing general enquiries, communications, and office organisation
Assisting with project administration, documentation, and internal processes
Co-ordinating invoicing and financial administration
Running company payroll and liaising with external accountants where required
Preparing and submitting VAT returns
Maintaining office systems, filing, and company procedures
Supporting the overall organisation and smooth running of the office
About You
We are looking for someone who is organised, personable, and confident managing a busy creative environment.
You may have experience as:
Office Manager
Administrative Assistant
Senior Administrator within architecture, engineering, or a professional services environment
Key skills and qualities:
Strong organisational and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities calmly and efficiently
Professional and approachable manner
Proactive mindset with good attention to detail
Confidence working with digital systems and office software
Experience within architecture, construction, or engineering environments is beneficial but not essential
