About us
Carterton Veterinary Surgery is a purpose-built small animal first opinion practice that has been serving the local community since 2014. Our facilities include a large reception with separate dog and cat areas, dedicated wards for dogs and cats, an isolation kennel, a large prep room, imaging room, dental theatre, and surgical theatre. We are based in West Oxfordshire on the edge of the Cotswolds – an area renowned for its countryside beauty – while still being close to Oxford and within easy reach of London. Our team is small but passionate, made up of 2 FTE vets (both working towards certificates in small animal medicine), 3.5 FTE nurses, 1 student nurse, and a practice manager. We have a genuinely friendly and welcoming culture, with a team that supports each other both inside and outside of work.
