Carers will support clients in all aspects of daily living, which may include companionship, shopping, meal preparation, personal care, hygiene, dressing, feeding, whilst helping them maintain their optimum level of independence. We help our clients live a life of choices; whilst always maintaining their safety, privacy and dignity.
Caregivers will participate in the development of evaluation and review of Person Cantered Care Plans. We treat all of our clients as individuals. Additionally a willingness to complete an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service application.
Carers will be committed to all mandatory and other relevant training, as well when required to maintain best practice.
Experience
Experience in adult care is desirable but not essential, we provide Visiting Angels Academy paid for training. Applicants must have a vehicle they are able to use.
Hours
Part time caregivers can work up to 16 hours per week on a permanent contract, however we can provide contracts and clients to fit around your personal availability, extra hours optional.
Salary
Salary starts at £11.20 p/h weekdays, £12.70 p/h weekends, £16.80 p/h on bank holidays and £8.91 p/h paid for training. Carers also receive a company pension.
Travel
We pay you 25p per mile for your fuel and £8.91 per hour for your travel between clients. Additional pay includes a bonus scheme, retention bonus and an annual pay increase of 5%.
