The healthcare division of one of the world’s leading independent PR and communications agencies is looking for an experienced Account Manager or Senior Account Manager to join their thriving team. You will be working on an exciting blockbuster account (sleep & neurology) which is first in class.

The role of Account Manager or Senior Account Manager is extremely varied day to day. Your time will generally be split between work for your clients as well as supporting your internal teams and colleagues, including:
1. Delivery of projects and programmes for your clients with support from a director
2. Exceptional understanding of your client’s business objectives and challenges as well as the wider healthcare environment and regulatory boundaries
3. Accountable for the quality of work on your account and striving for organic growth
4. Strategic lead on your accounts
5. You will also participate in new business pitches
6. Develop close client relationships to become a trusted advisor/ partner
7. Attending high profile industry events and meetings in the healthcare sector
8. Line management and leadership responsibilities.
Requirements:
9. Experience up to at least Account Manager in a healthcare PR/communications agency is essential.
10. The Account Manager or Senior Account Manager will need a solid understanding of the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry as well as communications and digital media.
11. You will be passionate about healthcare and wellbeing, you understand the challenges facing your pharmaceutical clients and enjoy coming up with creative communications strategy to solve their problems.
12. Social media savvy.
13. You will have strong experience in account handling and working with clients in the pharma and health space.
