Responsibilities
* Deliver close protection in accordance with Mitie SOPs and client expectations
* Conduct dynamic risk assessments, route planning and threat mitigation
* Liaise professionally with principals, private offices and partner agencies
* Maintain situational awareness and manage security incidents appropriately
* Assist with logistical planning, recon, venue sweeps and advance work
* Uphold Mitie values, compliance obligations and professional standards
* Maintain accurate reporting, documentation and operational records
Qualifications
* Excellent judgement and decision‑making
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to integrate quickly into multi‑disciplinary teams
* Professionalism, reliability, and unwavering discretion
* High standards of personal presentation and conduct
* Willingness to work flexible hours, sometimes at short notice, SIA Close Protection Licence
* Proven CP experience (government, corporate, diplomatic or media)
* Strong understanding of the UK threat environment
* Excellent written and verbal communication
* Full UK driving licence
* High standards of integrity, discipline and presentation
Desirable
* Medical qualifications (FPOSi/FREC3/4, or equivalent)
* Experience on ministerial, corporate or HNW contracts
* Willingness to undergo MITIE BS7858 vetting and if required CTC / SC Govt vetting
