About the role:
Dementia is the biggest health challenge of our century. There is an urgent need to fill the knowledge gap in understanding and treating this disease. The UK Dementia Research Institute (UK DRI) at Imperial brings together diverse researchers to address this challenge, focusing on holistic approaches to the aging brain.
We offer an exciting opportunity for a Research Associate to join a project funded by the Advanced Research + Invention Agency (ARIA). The project aims to develop minimally invasive multiplexed temporal interference brain stimulation technology, led by Dr Nir Grossman. The role involves demonstrating the approach in animal models, exploring technology capable of stimulating deep brain regions implicated in neurodegenerative diseases like Parkinson’s.
