We are excited to welcome a new Consultant Gastroenterologist to our friendly, dynamic, and forward-thinking team based at Scarborough Hospital. This is a 10 PA post over five days. Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality patient care in Gastroenterology with an optional limited cover for General Internal Medicine.
* Participate in a Gastroenterology MDT, collaborate with the Hepatology department for routine and emergency cases.
* Engage in opportunities for teaching, research, or quality improvement projects as aligned with your professional goals.
* Contribute to service organisation and development; participate in the general medical on-call rota as part of the team.
Qualifications
* Higher medical qualification (MRCP or equivalent) and be on the GMC Specialist Register for G(I)M and Gastroenterology or be within 6 months of obtaining the CCT at the time of interview.
* Clinical skills of a high standard in Gastroenterology; voluntary option to cover General Internal Medicine.
