HMP Stocken is a well-established, modern Category C prison located near Oakham, offering a structured, professional working environment with a strong focus on rehabilitation and skills development. What you will do: Working as part of the facilities team, you’ll carry out a mix of planned and reactive maintenance tasks, including: General building maintenance and minor repairs across site Supporting fire safety systems (extinguishers, fire doors, alarms) Emergency lighting checks and testing Water safety tasks (temperature checks, flushing) Basic testing (e.g. RCDs, misting units) Assisting with security systems such as CCTV and alarms Managing jobs and updates through CAFM systems This is a multi-skilled role, ideal for someone who enjoys variety and problem-solving.
