Key Responsibilities
• Contribute to system-level Requirements and Acceptance activities, delivering to agreed schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
• Define high-quality system requirements and ensure they directly support stakeholder needs and programme objectives.
• Support the validation and logging of acceptance evidence to demonstrate compliance and secure formal stakeholder sign-off.
• Ensure traceability of design proving evidence within requirements management tools and assist with endorsement processes.
• Estimate scope and resources for current and future projects, supporting bids and planning across key engineering programmes.
• Provide technical support and mentoring across engineering teams, aiding the delivery of specialist project phases.
Required Skills & Experience
Essential:
• Degree in a STEM discipline or equivalent experience in aerospace, defence, automotive, telecommunications, or nuclear sectors
• Solid understanding of Systems Engineering principles, particularly around requirements and acceptance in a regulated, high-integrity environment
• Practical knowledge of the engineering lifecycle, particularly in your current or most recent project phase
• Awareness of applicable engineering standards, including safety and environmental compliance
Desirable:
• Experience with requirements management tools such as DOORS.
