Admin receptionist

Offer description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an organised, motivated, and enthusiastic Administrator/Receptionist to join our Children's Short Stay Service based at Osborne Court, Malvern. Short breaks provide parents and carers with a much-needed rest from caring responsibilities. The role is Band 3 and is part-time, 22.5 hours a week. The post holder will provide clerical and administrative support to enable the team to deliver an efficient and effective service.

We are looking for someone with strong administrative skills, including IT, MS Office, and Teams. You will also have excellent communication skills. Your main role will be being the first point of contact for the team, taking messages clearly, and handling information that is confidential, sensitive, and occasionally distressing. You will support clinicians by preparing data and presenting it appropriately for Ofsted. Booking transport and accommodation is also part of this role. You will collaborate with the administrative team and clinical staff to provide necessary support.

This is a demanding but rewarding role suited to a self-motivated and driven individual with a keen eye for detail. You may work independently or as part of a team and should have the desire to go the extra mile. Responsibilities include:

* Direct communication with families and carers, answering queries and concerns
* Ensuring compliance with data protection and GDPR

You must be a team player capable of juggling priorities accurately to support clinicians, administrative, and clinical teams.

At Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust, we are committed to delivering outstanding care. We operate community hospitals and health services across Worcestershire and provide mental health and learning disability services across Herefordshire and Worcestershire. We support our staff to thrive through flexible working options, help fulfill ambitions, and empower positive change within teams. We value diversity and encourage applications from all backgrounds, cultures, and ethnicities.

We offer:

* 27 days leave plus bank holidays, increasing to 33 days with long service
* Generous NHS pension and enhanced pay for unsocial hours
* Flexible and agile working opportunities
* Support for maternity, paternity, and adoption
* Supportive staff networks
* Health and wellbeing initiatives
