Job Duties
• Lead and manage strategic operations and department-wide initiatives
• Develop and implement policies and procedures that support operational excellence and compliance
• Oversee and analyze departmental budgets and financial planning
• Manage contracts and procurement processes for goods and services
• Serve as a liaison for internal and external operational partnerships
• Provide sport program oversight, including performance evaluation and resource management
• Ensure accurate and timely NCAA and institutional reporting
Minimum Qualifications
1. Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree; minimum five years’ experience.
2. Supervisory/management experience.
3. Operations in higher education in an athletics program, conference office or an affiliate company.
4. Accounting/budget experience and oversight.
5. Creating standard operating procedures and manuals,
6. Bank/credit card reconciliations,
7. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
8. A successful criminal background check is required.
Additional Considerations
9. Minimum five years’ experience in athletics administration.
10. DI athletics program
11. Division I athletics program with football
12. Higher education, experience in a State Agency.
