Equans is looking for a Fire Extinguisher Engineer (Nights) to join our team in London on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle and benefits package.
What will you deliver?
1. PPM and reactive visits as required on portable firefighting equipment and ensuring applicable standards are adhered too (BS fire extinguishers)Carrying out servicing and reactive works on portable firefighting equipment (extinguishers, fire blankets) at various locations primarily TFL PremisesMaintaining asset records ensuring accuracyAdvising the Manager/client regarding potential non-compliances and possible remedial worksThis is a night shift role working 10pm - 6am and therefore ability to work unsupervised & on an individual basis is essentialCompany vehicle, tools & equipment will be provided

Who are we looking for?

BAFE accreditationhave a proven track record in servicing fire extinguishers & fire blanketsAble to produce an in date fire extinguisher training certificate for a recognised body i.e. British Fire Consortium, IFEDA, FIAAbility to work on own initiative and within a team with Good communication & problem solving skillsHold a full UK Driving licence
