What you'll do at work
What You Will Learn:
* Core principles of operating and maintaining various plant and equipment
* Industry health, safety, and environmental standards
* Maintenance and operational practices, processes and procedures covering a range of plant and equipment
* Reading and interpreting technical documentation and specifications
Your responsibilities:
* Operate, inspect, and maintain machines and equipment to ensure safe and efficient performance
* Identify and rectify faults under supervision
* Follow health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times
* Prepare and restore work areas before and after maintenance tasks
* Communicate clearly with team members and stakeholders to confirm work completion
* Attend college and maintain good progress with studies submitting assignments and coursework in good time

Formal learning will take place at Petroc, where you will gain additional experience and technical knowledge.
